Various users were surveyed and the results are reported in this article. There's an interesting hidden statistic in this.
While about 37% of the users cited one of their concerns about Linux being "accountability in case of problems", nearly as many (30%) cited the same thing about Microsoft.
I take this to mean that while people worry they might not be able to get bugs fixed using the open-source model, they already know that they are not much more likely to get relief from Microsoft.
They just haven't realized it yet.
